I came across this video of Will Smith. He is not only a great actor and a great inspiration. He is terribly passionate about what he believes in and that makes it contagious and him a great communicator. His message is being heard and I hope you enjoy it.
Some of you might know about his other side, the inspirational one. For some of you, it might be something new.
He has been studying religions and the need of us, humans to believe in something somehow. Will Smith has gone a long way, learn his share and it is so great to have some insights of what he has experienced and studied.
Everything he says is common sense, but.. Common sense is the less common of all the senses at the end of the day.
If you are looking for some good movie to boost your mood, go for The Pursuit of Happiness.
These are some of his thoughts…
Being realistic is the fastest way to be mediocre.
Talent you have naturally, Skills you develop with hours, hours and more hours of work. That is why I work, work, work and work.
Don’t allow anyone to tell you that you can not do something.
If you are not doing someone else’s life better, you are wasting your time.
I can create whatever I want to create.
There is no reason to have a Plan B, if it is going to distract you from Plan A.
He, who says he can, and he, who says he can’t.. both of them are right.
I just love his simplicity, his approach to life and of course, his experience of having worked with so many big people and learn so much from it and still stay humble and sincere.
